Travel agents or tour operators who sell air or sea fares to Californians are required to register as "Sellers of Travel." The registration number they receive from the state must be displayed on all advertising. If you do not see either a registration number or "CST pending" on the ad, or have questions about California's Seller of Travel law, call the California State Attorney General's office at 800 952-5225.
